Dynamite Coaching: “Leadership and Communication” Training

Appendix A:

Organizations run best when members are able to Communicate Effectively by creating for themselves the following outcomes:

  1. Healthy Environments: by moving through difficult conversations towards more effective engagements and positive conclusions
  2. Team Clarity and Alignment: by defining their culture, direction and focus for their team and company through open and honest conversation
  3. Reinforcing Team Culture: by learning who is responsible and has authority for what messages and how to openly invite and then resolve resistance to maximize efficiency and staff engagement
  4. Process and Duplication: by designing and building their defined culture into the systems and very fabric of their company to support sustainable change

Intention:
- Building a More Cohesive and Effective Leadership Team through More Effective Communication.

In support of your team and organization, being able to best maximize this material, we will be utilizing your team’s “real life-business communication scenarios” to better apply the learned skills in “real time” thus helping to deepen the learning in a more relevant and engaging methodology.

We will work together in the following way:

1 Day Kickoff Training: We will begin with a 1 day interactive course created to support participants on how best to use “Coach-Like Approach Techniques” to improve their communication skills. Through “live practice” participants will develop a greater ability to engage in effective conversations and walk away with real tools on how to enhance their “communication skills” and more effectively deal with “change.”

Monthly Modules: the modules are designed in 3 hour blocks and are best scheduled 3 to 4 weeks apart to help maintain the momentum of the “learning wave” thus allowing for easier digestion and application of the material. The smaller 3 hr time blocks also make it more manageable for teams and organizations to schedule. Inside each module there is room built in for participants to review and discuss the previous learnings, including time to discuss any challenges they’ve had as well as any successes they’ve experienced when applying their communication/soft skills.

Creating the space inside each module where teams can review the previous content is a critical component of the learning as it leads to collaborative and “open conversations” amongst the participants where they can share their frustrations, fears, vulnerabilities and also their triumphs around their growing skill sets helping overcome “imposter syndrome.”

Learning is an iterative process and is most effective when allowed to be assimilated over time. It is not static and therefore not created just through “data dump.” Learning requires reinforcement and follow-up, and room must be made available for the learner to question and challenge what is being taught in order for it to be understood, adopted and ultimately utilized. Using this process of review first, we then dive into the next module building upon our platform of growing conversational excellence.
